What ADC/DAC do you use?
We mix and master through Antelope Audio's Orion 32+ gen. 3. Known for it's rich bass tones and high definition. You can read more about the adc/dac here.
What do I have to do to get started ?
We make the whole process of using our service quick and easy. Once you order we will create a shared folder on NJ Sound LLCs google drive and share it with the email you provide during checkout. Once you receive the shared folder email from njsoundstudio@gmail.com simply upload a zip file with your stems or you can send a Pro Tools 2023 file or other daws if you want to. It is easiest to provide all the stems but we do accept all DAW files too if you prefer.
What file format do you prefer for Mixing and Mastering ?
We prefer 24 bit .wav files that range between 44.1KHz to 96 KHz. If you don't have 24 bit .wav files we will convert them for you without any problem.
What file format do you prefer for Analog Summing ?
We prefer 16 bit or 24 bit wav files that are in 44.1 KHz or 48 KHz. If you want to analog sum at special requirements just let us know. We deliver a 44.1 KHz 16 bit stereo .wav file after the summing is completed and place it in your google shared drive. Please remember to specify what pre-amp you want your mix to be analog summed with. We offer API, Burl, Neve and Vintech pre-amps each with their own unique sonic coloring. IF you're not sure just contact us and John will help you right away. Put in the checkout of the summing order "CALL ME PLEASE"
What software do you use for audio editing ?
We have the latest updated version of Pro Tools Studio and keep it and all of our plug-ins up to date.

How do I get my first mix for $35 ?
Simply use the promotion code "New" during checkout. *
Do you offer any revisions ?
We provide a free revision for all of our mixing and mastering orders. We don't provide free revisions for all other services.
Can I get a refund ?
No. All sales are final. We have not yet received a request for a refund in our 11 years of business.
Who is your audio engineer ?
John Cannon is the audio engineer who performs all mixes and services. He has been the owner operator of NJ Sound over the past 11 years. He has decades of experience and if you ever need to record, please checkout his studio at NJsound.com. He gives all new audio clients their first 3 hours for $100 too! He's a cool professional who loves music and is also an established independent music artist!
What is your turn around time ?
That depends on how many mixes are in the queue. We try our best to deliver all services within seven days but that can be sooner or later depending on demand.
